The Challenge

With the popularity of padel tennis growing rapidly across the UK, Padel4all are in prime position to take advantage of the 1000s of players looking to try out the sport for the first time. With padel centres in Swindon & Southend, and a further six planned for 2022, they needed to partner with a booking system that not only made booking a court quick and easy for players, but also gave them the platform to increase awareness, promote their new venues and market court availability to a wider audience. 

It is also crucial that with so many new players trying padel for the first time, that they’re able to create a positive experience that ensures players re-book time and again.

The Solution

From the offset, Bookteq worked closely with Padel4all to make sure that the booking system had everything they needed to successfully launch their first centre. 

Padel4all integrated the out-the-box Bookteq calendar widget into their website, creating a members and non-members space to easily book courts, sessions and coaching courses.

The new “Add-ons” feature was developed with the input and support of Padel4all. This was perfect for first-time players, as it gave Padel4all the ability to offer additional options, such as racket hire, during the booking process. As well as creating a positive booking experience and greater choice for players, it provides an additional revenue stream for each centre.

Using Bookteq to manage their online bookings also gives Padel4all access to Playfinder, the UK’s largest online sports facility marketplace, with over 100,000 visits a month. Each of their venues has a dedicated Playfinder listing, opening up padel to a whole new audience able to find and book online.

The Results

Since opening, being able to take and manage their bookings online through Bookteq has had a big impact on Padel4all. By month two they had already doubled their booking revenue and seen a 56% increase in court utilisation

Being listed on Playfinder also gave Padel4all additional exposure to new players looking to try padel for the first time. Playfinder’s padel listings now appear in the top three Google results in searches for  “Padel Courts”, “Padel Near Me” & “Padel Swindon”. This has made it easier than ever for players to find and book instantly at a Padel4all venue. 

Padel4all booking statisticsHaving a dedicated space on the website for customers where they can quickly book, pay for and manage their bookings has also made a huge difference. 63% of bookings were taken online via the Bookteq widget, with a further 59% of bookings including the racket hire “Add-on”. More than half of all bookings being made online, has meant more time for the Padel4all staff to invest in creating a fun, safe and entertaining experience for players, ensuring they continue to come back and book again.
